Catie congrats ton your baby girl! Hope everything is ok.
question what is the "cone of silence" never heard of that term before.
does that mean we have to hurry up and wait forever before hearing from our sailors again? :-(
Got an email from JD today. He said to keep sending emails with Rangers scores. While Wendy was there visiting, he did indicate that we are going to have another "cone of silence" before the underway is over. :(
heard from JD. he said they are expecting quite a few new people any day now. he said he's supposed to get a NUB. non useful body. lol. Looks like they are there for a few days. then another stop is planned that he mentioned. so we ought to get news this week and then again. talked about the Norwegian prices. $18 for a long island iced tea in Chili's. $100 for the reindeer steak. Apparently it's raining today. Wendy is there for a few days. She said it's like a little tourist fishing town. Her hotel is about a 30 min walk. JD was glad I'd emailed news about the Texas Rangers and the world series. Said he forwarded it to other guys on the boat. Apparently they are starved for sports news and other world events while underway! Glad everyone else is hearing from the guys!
