Shirley, my son just bought a Hyundai Tiburon for $995 in NH. He went to Craig's List or autotrader.com and typed in cars for $1000. This was being sold by a dealer "as is." have your son try a search based on what he wants to pay. The dealer was in Epsom NH, Autosmith car company, phone 1-888-697-2520

Alex was in the Navy for 6 years. He was an ETN, reactor operator on Miami. He spent 18 months in Nuke school and then went to the Miami. Now he will be an engineering major at the University of Pittsburgh or at Penn State. He left the Navy as a PO1. (E-6).  It is amazing to have him home and know that he's not just here on leave.

He was also glad that before he left, he found out that Miami will be repaired and returned to service. That there was no permanent damage to her hull.

Alex is now on his way home. He left Portsmouth very early this morning and said his goodbye to the Navy and the Miami. So, I guess this is my goodbye. I wish you all the best.

.Lorraine, let me know how your son is doing from time to time.

I hope they all wore the proper PPE while near the fire. I read that all leave for June was on hold.
Thanks, Catie and Laura D for the information.
