I heard from him a bit the other night, but not much overall, off and on.  But, that's the way he is :)  I send boxes pretty much evry week, so I hear when he gets them!

He's re-enlisting in the next few weeks out there, so I am waiting for news on that and some pics! What does your son do on the ship? Do you hear much from him?

yes, it is an adjustment not being able to talk. i hope your son sends you long, juicy emails! mine sends short messages, for the most part, but i am grateful for that! chris has been able to call me twice since he left, and it was wonderful to hear his voice and his wild stories!

All's well here. Just getting used to not being able to talk with him again. I believe he had to meet up with his ship because it had departed before he finished a school and a short leave.

I am in upstate NY, and boy, is it cold, frigid is not the word.  We are expecting more snow here.  They say lower NY in the city will get the brunt of the snow this time, 6-10 inches and we should get 4 inches.  I cannot wait til SPRING.  I miss my daughter so much. Donna
