I too am wondering who the ombudsman is. My son is on the USS Montpelier submarine as well and I really would like to know when they'll be back in Norfolk. Haven't got an email since the beginning of Dec... Please email me. Thank you,

Cynthia

Hello, I too am wondering who the ombudsman is. My brother is in USS Montpelier submarine as well and I really would like to be in Norfolk when he arrives. My brother was recently station in Norfolk last year and 2 months later left for this cruise. He has no family in Virginia so I really want to be there for him when they dock. I'm from Florida so I need to know the dates so I can make make my flight reservation and ask my work for vacation. Is there anyone who can give me details please? It's been a while since my husband was in the Navy so I don't know how it works anymore :-) Please email me. Thank you so much

I know and he knows that! :) I think he thought he would be able to email me when he got on, but I guess he wasn't able to. Are your sons or son in law on the Montpelier as well?
