I would like to join the Navy Moms for the USS Mustin.  My son is on the Mustin.  Him and his family have been in Japan since May of this year.

Hi Beth & Barb! I don't know how long they are out to sea. I'm a newby. My son only graduated from Boot Camp in September and didn't go to Japan until October. The ship was underway when he got to Japan. He had to fly to South Korea to meet up with the ship in either November or December. I think they will be out until the job is completed. I don't know if they will then go to Thailand or back to Japan or where. My son also said he was busy. He said he is working harder than ever. What is an LS?

Hi Barb and Kim.  My son has been sending emails thru his military email every so often.  He said that he is busy and got sunburn.  We also send messages on facebook when he can.  He also has an app on his phone for texting and calling when they are on land.  It was nice to see the message on facebook of where the Mustin is and helping out.  Just hope they are safe.  Kim I am not sure on the rules but you can always friend me and go through the private messaging.  I wonder if our boys know each other?  My son is an LS

My son doesnt use facebook so I have not heard from them since they left via text message. He said email would be available but we have heard nothing. I really expected communication would be better. How long are they usually out to sea?

Hello Beth. How long has your son been on the Mustin? He sent me a message on facebook the other day and told me he is working harder than ever. He also told me they didn't get to go to Thailand because of having to help the Guardian. Are there any rules we have to abide by while chatting?

Hello everyone! I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kim and my son is on the Mustin. I am very proud of him, but miss him alot. I don't get to talk to him very often. The best form of communication I found was through facebook.
