i guess we will never figure out the industrial business world of today. the family personal factories are all but gone. but whatever happens we know it is what is to be and get over it and move on. Hope all of your sailors are excited about the news. too. God Bless you all.

Jan, I hope you will be able to make it. It is hard to believe that some employers won't let people off for such an important event, but that is how it is sometimes. I wil be praying for you.

Hi everyone!! Another week is almost gone! Sounds like the tiger cruise will be fun, but my son didn't seem to want any of us to go. He says he is working. My youngest son doesn't want to go because he wants to do some fun things in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, including going to see the Tides play. After our 18 hour drive, I guess I can't blame him for not wanting to get on a navy ship. We are staying in Virginia Beach since this is where Jonathan wanted to stay. Is anyone else staying there? When you find out the details about the homecoming, please let me know. I can't remember the directions and procedures from the last homecoming. Looking forward to meeting you all at the meet and greet!

Oh, I agree, I worry 100 times more when they are not with me, in my sight, where I can watch and protect them. I can only imagine what it is going to be like when they are older! They are always the ones telling me to relax, they will be fine!! Yes, my boys will have there NIntendo DS charged and ready to go and I am so glad to know that they will be able to meet people before they go, I am hoping to be able to have my sister in law here to watch my little ones, one because they have to be there so early and two, they may freak out that they can not go. I swear my 6 year old daughter screamed for an hour straight when the boat pulled out, she was like " I want my daddy, bring back my daddy" It was heart breaking and makes me tear up just thinking about it. Luckily my dad was there to hold her and help calm her down.

We are going to the meet and greet, I can not believe he is going to 13 that day. I know they will be fine, they are good kids, I worry about them when it cimes even to the smallest things. I try not to but I can not help it. It will be nice for them to meet some people that are going on the bus too. :-)

Thank you for the info Kellie, my oldest son turns 13 on the day of our party and the Tiger Cruise is his present. He and my 11 y/o are going and that is all they can talk about. My other kids are terribly jealous, but not old enough to go. I am getting nervous though, the thought of my babies going on a bus without me, but excited they get to spend this once in a lifetime, special time with their dad!! I
