FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

we are so proud of our son 1 year ago today he left for boot camp and today made E4 on my birthday. what a present that was.

so my son started his cranking this weekend. won't get to chat with him much hope he is able to keep up the wonderful attitude on this 1st deployment. thanks again to all you wives and moms that keep our spirits up.

my daughter in law didn't mention that I will have to ask her about all her surprises. thanks kellie and keep the chin up your doing great even on those bad days and even through all the uncertainty. Glad you let it out and hope that some of our words of encouragement help.

thanks for filling us in on the party. nice gift of the colonial williamsburg stay. and the gift card. bet that was a surprise. keep counting the days backwards now. and those paychecks hope the time flys as fast this summer. God Bless you all.

i just wish we could have been there depending on the final dates our vacation is over three days before the maybe date they will be home. but I know our sailors new wife who had only a short time before deployment will give him extra hugs for us. will miss that homecoming so bad. :(
