OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Sorry to hear that Kellie. I am a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. My husband and I have gone through times when things did not work out the way we expected it to. At the time, it sucked. Now looking back, we realize how those things worked to our advantage. We are quickly approaching the half way point. Then we can start our preparations for their return.
