FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi everybody, Its been awful queit on this sight! Has anybody heard anything about new orders? My son has not.

One of the officers wives told me it is a must if you can make it and bring lots of kleenix. It is a very big deal I guess.

I read Decom. ceremony March 31. My son hopes they find out where there going soon!

Thanks Johanna,I can't wait to hear what he has to say about his first cruise. I read the ship is going to decom. in march. My son says he has mixed emotions about it because he likes everybody he works with. Oh well, new orders I guess! He wants to stay with the amphibs, I hope he can!

Hi ladies hope your all doing well. Fall is upon us. Miss you all. This was the best experience i i have ever had with a group of ladies all with one goal to care about eachother and the families.

Thanks, My son is a new sailor and has never deployed. I saw a FPO address for the commander of the Nassau on the web site . Would it be the same thing?

Hi , I have asked my son for an address, but he hasn't come up with one! He thinks I don't need an address, because we can just use the phone. I would like to send him something for his birthday Oct. 31. can anybody help me with this little problem? LOL!
