OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

That is a great idea on the 500 pt. Walking/runnig does tend to clear your thoughts

To motivate myself to exercise, my husband and I set a goal on the number of miles we wanted to log in during deployment. There are mornings when I do not want to get up. Then thought of him out running me gets me out of bed. I am determined to hit the 500 mile point before he does...I've tried doing homework with my kids but it is impossible. My kids are 8, 7, and 5 so they ask ten thousand questions on every assignment.

The only work out i have is chasing around twins(boy & girl). You would think that as time went on it would slow down. NO, NOT A Chance..... Even at 15 one goes here and the other goes there. I guess it's sad that the biggest part of family time is all of us sitting down to do homework together. I do mine while they do theirs. They both play ice hockey and on seperate teams. Not that Kyle minds he likes traveling with Katie and her team of girls. And vise versa. The boys dote on her. -Lovinmysailor30? for you-What is a HHA. I haven't heard of that before. Thanks for you help on that one

I am so happy to hear that you are starting back to school. I did that also. At first i thought it may be too much (with my mind on Dustin) , but actually it took my mind off worring about him. It is amazing how doing that makes the time fly by. Good luck with your classes

If you go online, you can order the boxes directly from the usps. They come in packs of 10 or 25. Best of all, they are free.
