Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

so glad he is home Jan :) well girls my hubby is coming home at the end of April, we are being transferred to Florida. I will be checking in here all the time though, to see how deployment is going and how you all are doing. It has been great to get to know all of you and to have a great support system through this deployment.

Derian went home tonight we are so grateful to all those that prayed for him. yesterday was bad and then late last night the tide turned and viola he is now home still very very tired and not quite himself but home. YEAH!!!!!

thanks for all your prayer just heard from my son that Derian is starting to respond to all the therapy and the oxygen has been taken off. maybe can go home soon. thanks again my sailor son his nephew says good he can stop worrying for those who are not sleeping try the cd that you can get at walmart for sleep it really works put it on when you put your head on the pillow. think good thoughts and voila it is morning. may still be a short night but a few hours of sound sleep are better than restless good luck put it in Gods hands. lov ya and thanks again update tomorrow

drove the 2 1/2 hours up to see my grandson today he is one sick little boy. we were there for 1 hour and he hardly stayed awake not the typical 5year old wild one we know. Still don't know when he will be well enough to go home. so sad. drove right home so grandpa could go to work. he needs his rest will mom by his side. thanks for your prayers we so appreciate them.
