Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

i made the cake for my hubby's birthday and im sending it out this week sometime. it seemed to taste fine but it didnt smell like normal cake to me lol. we will see how it goes!

i know any packages for the Nassau go to New York and then out because th 09557 is supposed to be a new york zip code. so who knows!

yea. just wait it out. i just send everything in care packages so i make sure it does get to him. there may be like 8 cards in a box but atleast he is gettin them all lol.

alot of the letters get lost thats what we were told. and i have even had other wives and girlfriends from previous deployments tell me to send letters ad cards in care packages, because 90% of the time they get lost and either wont ever get ther or will get there months later

wow. i wonder why yalls are tken so long, mine are taking a week to a week and a half. kellie, ryan still hasnt gotten the card my mom sent him the day after he left.

they can but family can buy them as well on that website, its the navy exchange site. my hubby said sometimes they run out of cards. he hs two just incase one gets messed up or he looses it.

Just while they are going through the suez and it should be soon that they go through. Prolly by the end of the week. There is a rumor going around it's gettn cut off soon

He called right after I posted. Yea it goes out before the suez so I'm sure that will be soon blah! But then that means tax free pay!! Yay!!!
