OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

I hear you. I've just left things hanging. Luckily my husband and i work for places that are understanding about needing the time off at the last minute. I haven't heard from my son since last week

Not really, but from indications from the
FRG page we should be hearing by Wednesday. I've rescheduled so many things and have the feeling I'm not done yet.

Jenismer have you heard anything?
Comment by jenismer on June 15, 2015 at 1:05pm

Starting to feel a little anxious.....

Not that I know of.  The tracking numbers only show delivery to Chicago.  After that it's gone.  Not sure what's up.

Is there a way you can check if the package is still in Virginia? Mine got his that I sent at the end of april
Comment by jenismer on June 9, 2015 at 12:34pm

Mine rationalized the whole thing - he said after looking at his pay - he's ok with an extension.  He's done well saving and investing since he got in.

Unfortunately he still hasn't received the package I sent in April.  Hopefully they'll rethink holding stuff in Virginia.

Ahh that's great Jesmom6!!! Mine is happy as long as I keep him stocked with peanut butter!!

Mine isn't upset. Just tired I think. He does 5 on 10 off shifts. I sent him a jar of my homemade bbq sauce to put on the food. Hopefully it helps get him through to the end

Ya mine didn't seem too upset either. It was what it was. He said he was bored doing the same thing, seeing the same people and eating the same thing. Lol
