Good morning;
Has anyone heard from your loved one? I haven't heard from my son in a couple of weeks?

Heard from our son the other day as he received the last package I sent. Also been keeping up with his posts on Facebook. He's definitely ready to return and reunite with his wife (they have a house in Norfolk, while we live in Michigan). They've planned a trip to Disney when he returns. Hope all is well with everybody.

A little sad as I have not had a phone call in days.... The phones are turned off right now and my husband said his division is standing 6 on and 6 off watch rotation. He is very tired and ready to come home. He has had a battle with being home sick the past few days but his head is still in the game to complete all tasks at hand. I am getting excited as we are getting close to bring this deployment to an end. Hope everyone gets plenty of emails from their sailors and that everyone has a great week. Sent what maybe the last care package today might send one last one not sure yet... Jetsgirl

Hi All'
New pictures have been posted on the ships website, the in the September folder. I didn't see my son again. Hope you all get to see your sailors. My son called today, he didn't sound as tired as the last call, it was really good to hear from him.

I talked to my sailor Saturday evening and have got a few emails. He said yes they are still busy and if anyone's sailor has not got any mail you sent out in September it is becuase they missed a mail call and they have 27 pallets of mail sitting in Africa that will be shipped out there way soon. I sent 2 letters a month ago and was concerned when he still had not got them. He asked the mail room and I guess got the answer lol. Well, the men and women are still busy busy it seems on the ship. They are all ready for some R&R but are still focused on the job at hand. Well,hope everyone get emails and calls pouring in soon. Have a great week.... SMILES

Haven't heard anything from our son either - no web posts in a few days. We also pray for our Andrew and the rest of the crew daily. May God bless them and keep them safe.

Ramona--
I didn't hear from my son either this weekend, so I guess that they are busy again. Thank you for praying for the guys/gals on board.

navywifemom, Your post was great and we are hear to be the ear you vent to. I was just reading more so into where they were at. Do not be sorry for needing a place to vent. We have all been there and had that one moment where we want to unleash the rath of God on a family member. Trust me she will understand one day when her kids get married.... Have a happy weekend...
