Don't know what to do about the reports of "low morale" on the ship. I sent my son a care package almost 5 weeks ago and he still hasn't received it. Has anybody sent a package that has been received by their sailor?

Thanks NW. I looked it up right after I posted! Look like a great group of guys!
I heard from my son again last week. He said they don't need an international calling card as they are calling from the US line on the ship. Told me to buy a regular phone card. Just an FYI.

Navywifemom--
Your son is very hansome. I watched that program, too. My son didn't call today, but I know that he is ok. Hopefully, I'll get an email soon.

Julie B;
I'm so glad that you got to speak with your son, it really helps, even if we have to go through a box of kleenex when we hang up.

Son called Saturday!!! First time we have heard his voice since deployment. He sounded good and no complaints. I was so excited and afterwards just sat and cried!
He asked for only one thing: Ranch dressing! Funny, because in his care package I sent last week I sent some of those packets from the grocery deli!
Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!

Hi Starr;
I went to the coast to spend the weekend with my daughter, son=in-law and grandson. It was in the high 60's and when I got home this evening it is still almost 100 here (its normal for this time of the year)
