Kricket72 -- I sent a friend request so that you can contact me privately. I'm careful about OPSEC in public forums (all the time, actually), but sent you Ombudsman contact info so you can start the process.

Your sailor couldn't be in better hands! The crew of the Pasadena are great guys and I'm sure your son is busy getting his qualms completed and cleaning everything in sight -- like all newbs! :)

Hang in there Mom! You can do it!

Thank you SleazaksMom. I appreciate any information I can get.

Hi Krickett72! My son is aboard the Pasadena, too! If you'll contact the Ombudsman for the boat they can help you with addresses where to ship things and restrictions for your sailor. :)

Also, there is a FB page that your sailor can coordinate access to and get you more information.

Hi. I'm new here. My son is relatively new to the Pasadena. Is there a way to send them packages when they are underway for their 6 months?

Thank you SlezaksMom. I don't have any questions. I was just curious since this is my son's boat.

Does anyone still use this group page? There hasn't been any activity here in a long time.

Hi louann,

The Pasadena Foundation is very supportive of our boat. We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful namesake sponsor!!

Hello everyone!

I wanted to introduce myself as my son just got orders and will be moving to San Diego before the end of the year.

I'm not terribly active on N4M, but read a lot and support/offer advice where I can. My sailor was going to be doing surface fleet until about a month ago, so I have lots of catching up to do! :)

Happy Friday to you all!
