Gosh! I didn't know we could send stuff to them!  I would love to send tokens to myles! Is this true?? and if so how??

Just got an email from Myles!  He sounds pretty good.  Working hard on qualifying.  His worse complaint is he can't workout.  We are a work out kind of family and he is used to exercising 5-6 times a week so not doing anything is really hard.  He made it sound like once he qualifies that might be something he earns.  He sounds much better this email than last even without his Nook.  Hope you all have heard from your sailors too!

My mom is holding her own right now. She has had a heart attack, congestive heart failure, a toe amputated do to poor circulation (non healing byw) and they said they found a suspicious mass on her lungs! she is 83 and is at a rehab till she can get the op on her legs to increase circulation.

I called Myles cell phone this week so I could hear his voice on his  voice mail...

Has anyone heard from their son???  I know its only been two weeks since we got an email from Myles, but it seems like forever...if you have an idea where they are could you send a private email??  Oh and Ellen, I think you told me the estimated date for arrival back to home port, but it is lost in cyberspace. An a question on protocol, My mom isn't doing very well. What is the correct procedure in notifying Myles when and if that time comes...he wasn't extremely close to my mom but I still want him to know...

I would LOVE a vacation but most of all, I would love to see my son step off the boat. I hope I can afford it when the time comes. I will send you my kiddos last name privately as I think it would be best to keep our sailors close to anonymous as us moms can come. He is an MM. I know he has made friends with another "new boy" as I call them...a term from another military system.

I am so glad there is a group now for our boy's boat. Is there any plans to meet up for the homecoming?

Hi Ellen, My husband and I want to be there for Jeff's first homecoming, too! As I understand it, we are required to have a military escort to the pier which is arranged by the Ombudsman. So I am anxious to hear from her too! At least, we Pasadena Moms can share any information we hear about.(by PM so as not to upset OPSEC). Pat
