Just found out my son has orders for joining the USS Hamilton in May. Any other sailors headed that way?
Hello all! My son is getting ready to head to SD and will be on this ship. I'm not very active on this site but thought I would join the group and say hi.
Hi there! I don't know if this page has an admin anymore but the location for this DDG is no longer Pearl Harbor. It moved to San Diego in early 2016.
Hi all you DDG Mom's I hope you are doing well. Has anyone heard whether the ship is going to be additional funding so that BEA can finish the repairs?
DDG60 is no longer ported in Hawaii. They had a hull swap and are now in San Diego. My son is new to the ship; it looks like there isn't much activity amongst the mom's on this ship. Unfortunately, from what I hear morale is not good on board either. :(
Christine Proud Son of ET..forgot to tell you congrats and happy graduation to your son! oh..and mine is CT. looking forward to visiting him as well!!
hi pameleau1970..i'm so happy to have fellow Paul Hamilton moms as well!! Not sure yet when my son will be in SD..hopefully will know more soon:) I'm getting used to "going with the flow" haha.. since things seem to change quickly
