I am new to this group and site.. My other son (Navy also) in Hawaii just told me about it. I havent heard from Bart in a couple of weeks but he has contacted his brother so all is well. I plan on sending a care package next week.

I finally heard from my daughter - very briefly in email- but at least I heard from her.

It is good to hear from your loved one - just to know everything is okay.

Has anybody heard from anyone in the last 2 days?

Awesome. My daughter just turned 3 in Jan. I guess we stayed there because it was right on base and not far from the ship.

So your not sure when your going to go out there? I'll be there a little early just because I want to have housing set up and have a place for him to come and relax after that long deployment. If housing isn't set up by then we will continue to stay at Arizona hall until then I guess.

Not too much longer :) I'm trying to keep myself busy but there are some days where I just break down and cry for hours.

I'll be arriving there June 5th. What I'm doing is going to stay in the Arizona Hall, apply for housing, and just wait until a house is available. How old is your son? I have a 3yr and a 6 mon old.

Faithfullyyours- I added you and tried to email you but my phone is being a POS and isn't sending so I will just say what I needed to hear lol. Me and my son will be joining my husband in Hawaii after the whole base housing thing gets situated. I'm trying to be out there when the ship pulls in but I have no date yet :( when were you planning on going out?
