Hey, Melissa! Just checking in to see how Matt is adjusting to life aboard the Ramage. I hope everything is going well with him...and you.
Hi Carrie:
Sorry it took soooo long to reply. My email is not working properly. If someone sends me a PM, I get it, but that's all I get! So I have to remember to check all my groups and see what's going on. I need to get the email fixed!

Anyway, Matt seems to be adjusting fine. When there were in port he bought a laptop and an iPod. I tried to get him to do that BEFORE he left but at least he has some new toys now.

I received an email from him early on Thanksgiving and he was going to have turkey dinner after he got off watch. I've already sent that kid 4 packages and he's only been there a month! lol

Thanksgiving was hard this year (for ALL of us)....the first one with NO kids home! And on Wednesday I came down with the stomach flu, so hubby BBQ'd a steak for himself and I had crackers and tea! All is well now and I'm looking at the positive side: I didn't gain any weight this Thanksgiving! lol

How's your Sailor and have you heard from him lately?

Oh, on the Ramage website under Scuttlebutt, I posted a comment about N4M and this group. Maybe we'll get some more members......:)
Hi everyone this is my son second tour. missing him so much.
Hi Marilyn, this is my son's 1st deployment. How long has your son been in? My son was commissioned as an officer 5/8/10. Where are you from? We're from Middletown, OH. Have both of your son's tours been on the Ramage?
