Loving a Sailor isn't much fun
but its worth the price when the battle is won.
And remember he's thinking of you every day,
he's sad and he's lonely while so far away.
So love him and miss him and hold your head high,
Be strong and have faith, wipe that tear from your eye.
Your man's a seafarer, like that old ancient trader,
It's a high price you pay for loving a Sailor!

I hope so. I would have been crushed if Thomas did not see our daughter Bradley being born.

It depends on manning whether the CO will approve them to leave the ship for the 10 days of paternity leave.

My hubby told me about this a while ago. The problem I saw with it is that we have a small child and cost to fly where he is at. As woman the bathroom  and sleeping situation gave me concern, But in all honestly if my husband said he want me and bradley to go, we will be there. Hey do you guys know if any of the new fathers were able to leave to see their baby born.

@babrams 7 thank you for the email information.

A tiger cruise is where family members can go on the ship and come back home with there sailors, if they do it you need to be on the list as soon aspossible because there is limited space for females but they are allowed.  but it is not set in stone yet things are always changing.
