FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Ladies where is this information coming from? I had heard about it briefly but where is the info on it? Like who can go? What is the cost? We live in California, so pay to get to Boston Ride to VA? 

Anybody have any info would be greatly appreciated.....

The latest I just heard about the Tiger Cruise is that it is now 23 and 24 March, place.  My husband, mother and I are going on that!  Our daughter has SWO and won't be on board then!  Oh well, we'll see her in VA!

Have  you heard?  Family day cruise is 11MAR and Tiger Cruise in 19MAR to 20MAR !   Family day is in VA and Tiger cruise in from Boston to VA

Travis bear's Grandma,  I couldn't get any sailors seeing their babies.  I was back in the crowd of people.  Only families with newborns and sm kids could go up at first.  The rest of us had to wait.  I hope you all like the pics I was able to get!

Hi Ladies,  my pictures from homecoming have been approved and are under my pictures.  I hope you can access them, I do not know how to get them to this group to post.

I think I outsmarted my computer!  The pics are in a folder name USS ROSS homecoming 2010 and they are currently waiting approval, hope I did it right!

I got some pics but I am having a lot of trouble posting them!  I will keep trying, my son usually did this for me.
