Hi Jersey Susan, The link you posted says the content is currently not available. I would love to see these pictures, also!
Thank you, JerseySusan! I would love to see the photos if you can manage it.
Hi there - does anyone have any video or pictures of the crew from the USS San Francisco that participated in the flag ceremony before yesterday's Chargers/Niners football game?
Wow...what great news. Congrats to him!!!!!!
What an honor it was to hear Christopher made "Chief" today!!!
Wow SanDiegoMom...You are 1 very Lucky Sailor Mom!!!!! Living so close to his base must be an absolute joy. Treasure it while you can for a couple of years!!
Other Mom's...take advantage of SanDiegoMom's destination if you need her for anything!!!!
Elizabeth..It takes "Experience" as a sailors mom to get use to all the "In's & Out's" when you are visiting. Next time, make sure your son "Plans Ahead" for the visit on base & the sub!!! They usually almost get permission to bring you aboard for a tour.
What a wonderful post. You are a very giving person. Thank you so much for caring so much. I am a bit jealous that you saw the sub. My son said he would try to get us on base our last day there but since he was working on the sub it would be hard. Ended up that it did not happen. Wish I had met you when we were there for their arrival. Enjoy the rest of your summer. My son will be home soon for a short stay.
Whew!
Awe....Subwife2002...Thanks for the news links, loved them, very moving....AND Love Your new "Profile" photo!!!!!!!
Elizabeth...Thanks for the "grat" wishes. I will post pics of the happy couple after the wedding! ;)
