Welcome sbrands!  My son Aaron was just discharged, so he is no longer on the San Francisco, but I still like to hear what is happening, especially when they go on another deployment.

Colleen, I know you must be so excited to see Aaron!! Wish him all the luck for his future. Let me know what his plans are. I am so glad to hear Jessica is doing really well. Sometimes it just takes a little short break to re-group.

@sbrands...Welcome... My son's name is Chris & he is a Nuke ET. aboard the San Francisco. They just came back yesterday from being underway for about a week. I hear they have a very busy schedule this year. If you join the Sub Mom Group, they post a lot of info & knowledge to the right of their comment wall that is very valuable.

Hi, all, my son Devon is on the USS San Francisco. I realized last week that it was difficult being out of the loop and not knowing what was going on. Devon's father and I live in upstate in New York and we were dependent on hearing from here. So, here I am!

Hi, Susan

Aaron is on his way here now!  He should arrive sometime tomorrow.  Jessica is doing much better in school after a short break.  She's getting more involved in clubs and works hard to get her assignments done.  Love to you and thanks for asking!

Colleen, that is Sooo 'Awesome" finishing up your Master Degree & graduating in May!! I bet you can't wait to see Aaron. I hope & pray the Navy is helping him to secure a future for a smooth transition.  How is Jessica doing? Did she go back to school? We have to plan for our daughters wedding in May, so we are going to be extremely busy these next 5 months. We still go back & forth quite a bit from GA to NJ. Can't get enough of our grandchildren!!! Love & Hugs to You.

Happy New Year!  Thanks, Susan, for reminding me I still have a page!  We had a quiet holiday season.  Aaron is officially discharged, but he wasn't able to make it home.  He will be coming home by the end of this month.  I'll be doing two online classes to finish up my master's degree this spring so I can graduate in May.

Happy New Year To All!!! Christopher & our other son Jonathan made it to our new home in GA for New Years weekend. Even though it was a very short visit, it was so great just to be with them both!! We hear they have a very "busy" year ahead.
