Blessings to you also, Sally and thank you.  It has been my pleasure to start the group.  My son will be discharged in January, but I'll still hang around and I'll always be on Facebook!  Blessings to your son as well.  Best of everything for him in the future.

Hey Colleen, We will get to see our youngest son this weekend for the baby's baptism up in NJ, but he won't be there for Thanksgiving. He has been in Nevada on a training mission, so he is flying in from there on Sat. but has to return to FLA Monday. He will be the Godfather of our grandson, so he rec'd permission to fly back to NJ first. We were very thankful for that. How is Jessica doing? Is she getting ready to go back to school? Where is Aaron taking his trip too? I hope he has a good time. I am happy to hear he will be home for Christmas!!  :)

Hi, Susan.  I don't have much news to report, except that Aaron won't be home for Thanksgiving.  He's planning a trip somewhere else, but he will be home for Christmas.

Hi Everyone, how are you all doing? Sure do miss hearing from everyone. My husband & I are headed back up to NJ for 2 weeks. The baby's baptism is this Sunday & then we will stay through Thanksgiving & the week after. I hope the "SNOW" stays away!!!! Christopher & his GF are coming to Charleston & Atlanta the day after Christmas, so we are very excited about that news.

We had some snow, but no loss of power or trees down.  My sister in Hartford lost power and they had a lot of trees down.  How do you like the weather down there?  It must be nice.  Love

HI Mom's. So my husband & I "escaped" the Nor'easter last weekend living down here in Atlanta. Our daughter made out well too. They only rec'd sleet & rain. I know Shirley's town probably did not fair so well, & Colleen, how did you make out up there in MA? We are headed for a big up-coming week as our daughter & her family are visiting us for a week. We are soooo excited & I can't wait until I see, hug & hold the grandchildren!! Actually, we will see them alot the next 2 months up in NJ between the Baptism,Thanksgiving & Christmas. We will definitley see our youngest son, Jonathan & "hoping & keeping" our fingers crossed to see Christopher too in Dec.!!! I hope all is well with everyone & your families. Love To All, Susan

Aaron has never talked much about any problems on their deployment, so I know very little myself.

To My "Great" Mom's of the USS San Francisco, I want you All to know how much you have been on my mind. The Navy has officially gone public with the recent zero tolerant issues that occured aboard our sons sub & an air craft carrier docked in San Diego. If anyone has been affected by this latest occurance, please know my heart & prayers go out to you, your family & your sons. They are all good men, but sometimes stray away from what is right & wrong that may have occured under the pressures of life & not fully understanding the consequences that will affect them & the many people surrounding them. I know some of you may be hurt & sad as I hope you & your families keep a strong faith & forgiveness that will overcome this obstacle place before you.  Love To All

Absolutely Colleen, taking a break can do wonders. I remember when Christopher changed colleges on us. When he re-grouped, he did great!!!!
