Happy Anniversary, Susan. I don't know anyone in the area, it would just be nice to meet you face to face! Everyone, Aaron will be discharged for medical reasons from the Navy officially in January. The discharge is honorable and he will get all the benefits of a veteran, thank God. I want to keep this group together so everyone and others whose sons join later, will have somewhere to go. I don't want to lose touch with you all. Love.
Well, today is Our Wedding Anniversary, 10/18/80, "31" years!!!!!! We just took a short drive ( 5 1/2 hour), over the weekend to visit Jonathan, our youngest, @ Eglin AFB, Fla. We stayed at my M-in-L's in Destin, which is only 20 miles away. We had a great time visiting both of them. He is constantly training in different states every month. We just pray & keep our fingers crossed he won't get deployed. He tells us not to worry, that his training is intense & he will be ready. But of course, we are his parents, & just want him to stay on here. Hi Colleen, Sugar Hill is just 20 miles north of N. Atlanta. Do you know anyone that lives down here? My husband's office is in Atlanta. Christopher is working hard, a lot of hours, but sounds good when we talk to him. He & his GF are trying to make plans to come east in Dec. but my husband & I will be in NJ both Thanksgiving & Christmas with our grandchildren, so I don't know how it will all work out for them, with her parents in Charleston SC. I hope something can be worked out b/c we miss him very much. I hope everyone is Healthy & doing well. Let me know how you & your families are doing. Love To All of You.
Yes Colleen, we are very excited about the move, but at the same time, a little nervous. Leaving "Good Ole NJ" without my daughter & 2 grandsons, my parents & sisters will be sad. :( But like I said, we will be back up here a lot. Thanks for all your prayers, my Mom did really well with her hip surgery, & should be coming home tomorrow. I talked to Christopher last night. They have had a rough 2 weeks on the sub. Hopefully all will get taken care of. I hope any Parents who's sailors son's are having difficulty, know my prayers are with all of you & your families. My Big Hugs To You All. (((((( : )))))))
Wow, Susan, you must be excited. Sounds like you'll be able to see your family often. How is the weather down there?
