Aaron gave up his old apartment before he was deployed and now he has a new one he likes better.  He doesn't want a roommate this time.  I don't know what he is paying, but I know they get a housing allowance. San Diego is not a cheap place to live, so there probably aren't any inexpensive apartments.  How are your parents doing?  We are driving to RI for Jessica's orientation tomorrow and Friday.  I'm getting over my cold, but it looks like Jess and Malcolm are catching it. :(

Wow Colleen!! Bungi Jump!!! That is something a lot of people want to experience. My kids including!! Not for me though, I am petrified of heights!! Is Aaron still living in the same apartment as he did before he got deployed? Christopher is living in a different one.We are not liking how much he is paying for his rent. Unbelievably HIGH!!! Plus all we hear everytime we talk to him and he's outside, are planes overhead. They are right next to the airport. We have to stop talking until the plane passes. His GF picked it out when he was deployed. We really wish he waited until he came home and took his time. :(

I've only heard from Aaron on facebook!  He said he did a bungi jump (don't know the spelling).  He'll have a video soon, he says.  I don't know his work schedule, but I'm sure he's working hard.

Heard from Christopher last night. He has been "extremley" busy this past weekend.. He hopes to "maybe" get a well deserved day off this weekend. Of course, being his mother, I feel for all of his hard work he puts into the boat & I can't express how my heart goes out to him of how dedicated he truely is.  <3....

Well, we made it back to Jersey!!!! 10 days of visiting & driving to FLA & back. Deborah, I won't hear of you deserting us!!! Keep in Touch once in a while, especially after your visit to Charleston. I know we will all miss you very much not hearing from you. Colleen, are you making a trip to CA this summer? I am sorry that you had a nasty cold & I hope you are feeling much better.Cath, I am glad your son Josh, had a good experience with his very first underway. The sub is getting ready for dry dock,so it will be a long while before they go out again. I understand it's a very busy time for them. Sally, always great to hear from you. Keep encouraging Craig to get his Dolphins finished.  We found a house in Atlanta. We are making settlement the end of July, but I won't be moving until my daughter has her 2cnd. baby boy at the end of August. So we have a very busy household ahead. Love To You All   :)

Bummer.  First week of vacation and I have a nasty cold! Debra, will you still hang out with us and stay connected even though your son has been stationed elsewhere?  I hope so.

Congratulations to your Air Force son!  I will say a prayer for the move.  I don't like change so I would be apprehensive as well.  J and B got to their little apartment in Charleston.  Praise God for that.  Driving a Penske across the United States is something that is scary to me but those young people just take it in stride. I have loved being a part of this group but will probably not have much to say from now on. I loved getting to know each one of you.  Know that I pray for each one of your sons and will continue to do so.

Hi everyone! I am glad to hear all the 'boy's' are doing well. I am sending this from my I phone. My husband & I drove to Florida to see our youngest son take his last graduation for Air Force Combat Controller Special OPS at Hurlbert Field at Eglin Air Force Base. Then we drove to Atlanta to find a house as my husband has had a job there for a year now, and it became time to make the 'Big' move!! A little scary!! We have heard from Chris these past few days. They came back from being out to sea for a couple of days. He's very tired and said they have a very busy July ahead of them. His move with his GF Hillary, went smoothly. He seems to be Happy about it, so that makes us happy for him. I hope everyone is healthy and having a nice summer. Love to you all. :)

Sally, maybe they are all underway.  I've left a couple of messages with Aaron and he hasn't called back.
