Hi everyone!  Things are going well here. I stayed home yesterday.  The car didn't leave the garage for the first time in 7 weeks!!!  It was great.  I didn't even change out of my pjs all day. I didn't have any school work for once, and I was going to pull weeds, but I didn't.  This coming week is our state testing, and then we are off for Easter (Spring break).  I think I am going to go down to my daughter's for a few days to get away. We are now establishing the new normal and I am ready for it. I am trying to figure out a summer vacation that will include seeing J and wife.  Don't hurt yourself, Susan, moving boxes.  And Colleen, I am so glad you heard from Aaron, and you figured out the mystery of the missing emails!

I did get an email from Aaron yesterday from underway.  He's doing better now.  I hope things go well with your mom, Susan.

How is everyone doing this weekend? We haven't heard from Christopher in a while. Hopefully pretty soon!! I am going to be very busy the next couple of weeks with getting my parents packed up and ready to move in with my sister and her family on May 14. My mom had a cortisone shot directly into her hip on Thurs. So we are hoping that will take affect with-in week or two to help with all the pain she has been dealing with. She will probably need a hip replacement in the furture, but by then they will be all settled at my sister's house. I hope everyone is in good spirits and good health. Pretty Soon we will be hearing from our son's on a daily basis! YAHOO!!

I know what you mean, Susan.  It angers me that the government could let this happen.  Aaron is fortunate he doesn't have a family to take care of.  He could take a hit or two.  It's a shame our military will get pay cuts for all they do protecting us.

Sooo... Ladies, I'm not to sure how all this government shut down is going affect everyone. My youngest son who is in the Air Force just told us tonight that his next pay check will be cut in half. He is single, I can't even imagine how much of an impact it will have on the one's who have a family. It's just crazy to think that our loved ones in "Arms Way" are being affected in this manner.

Ohhhhhhh Colleen, you must have been beside yourself when you realized that!!! But at least now, you must be breathing a sigh of relief not knowing why he wasn't receiving them!! Love You  :)

You girls know what I just discovered?  I was sending emails to Aaron's gmail address, not his sub address!  I just wrote him to tell him to check that mail.  I have his ship address now so I won't make that mistake again.
