Aaron has been in silent mode since they left Japan.  Deb, what is the Celebration of Life?  I've never heard of that.  Hugs to you.

Deb there is not protocol on how to act... just feel whatever comes as that is the love coming up and out... The boys are underway again and there is silence from them all... again no news is good news... we will keep you in our prayers and know the strength of god that loves us all will be with you as you need him the most at this time... <3

Happy Belated Birthday, Susan!  Congratulations, Jessica!  I wish J would email as well.  I asked him if he wanted to write anything for the service, but I haven't heard from him since last port.  We had the graveside service today. Tomorrow is the Celebration of Life.  My mom's sister and husband arrived safely on Wednesday. Her brother and wife come tomorrow.  Please pray for travel mercies for everyone. I am not sure how to act. You can pray for that as well.  Thanks everyone.

Jessica got her financial aid awards letter from Johnson and Wales.  They were extremely generous!

We did get a sprinkling of snow.  It only stuck on the grass.  I wish Aaron would write.  Jessica can't wait for senior year to finish.  She is going to Johnson and Wales culinary school in Providence, RI.  When was your birthday?  Happy Birthday.

Good Morning To All, How was everyone's weekend? Colleen, please tell me you are not getting any snow today!! Deborah, I know you are going to have a very emotional week this week, we will keep you in our prayers. Christopher sent me a short e-mail on Sat. wishing me a Happy Birthday. He didn't know when I would get it, but it came the day after he wrote it so that was nice that the boat pushed it forward that quick. It was short but great to hear from him.I hope everyone is in good health and good spirits. Colleen, how is your daughter making out in her Senior year? She must be getting excited. Did she decide where she is going after she graduates?

Thanks, Susan.  Deborah, I know what you mean about all of it being surreal.  When I talk about my sister in law or my cousin, I still can't believe they are really gone.  It just doesn't fit, yet it is true.  God lifted the initial grief, but when I think of them, I still feel pain.  I can't imagine losing my parents at any time.  My dad just turned 80.  That makes me think about it more and more for them.

Susan, we are doing as well as expected.  We are just going through the motions doing all those things you need to do.  I finally went back to work today.  It was a hard day.  I am taking the end of next week off because my mom's family will be coming in town.  The graveside will be with just family on Friday, the 25th.  The Celebration of Life service will be on the 26th when her best friend will be home from Germany. I wrote the obit, the eulogy, and the order of service last night.  My cousin is making the memorial video. My dad's sister is here trying to do their taxes.  My mom's business has been making it difficult for her to figure out.  We were able to give all her customers to another representative so we haven't had to try to run it. Through it all, I don't think I have accepted it.  It seems so surreal.  I hope J will be able to write something that we can read for the service.

Hi Colleen, Check your in-box, I sent you the FPO address. Remember, when you send a package through the FPO address, it doesn't have to be flat. Only when they have a Drop Mail,  because someone personally is delivering it. But, they have little room in their bunk quarters, so nothing that will be to large for their little space. Have a Great Weekend!!
