Hello Ladies, we finally heard from Christopher today "briefly",he said he is doing good and is really looking forward to this next port.He and a few of the guys are already making plans, and he especially wants to go golfing. He sounds very up-beat and in great spirits. WaHoo!!!!! Love To You All
Good Afternoon Ladies, It is "Finally" a warm 'Spring' day today!!! In the "60's"! I can't believe there is actually "No Snow" on the grass!!!! We pulled the grill out to make some steaks.(It was behind the snow blower)!!! Sally... your right, we haven't heard anything from Christopher since the first couple of days in Feb. I would imagine it will be soon though. We are anxiously awaiting! Maybe Craig will get his package if he makes a return @ the next port. He was very close to getting his Dolphins, right? Colleen, I hope you make it out to your parents this summer. We are still planning for a July visit with Christopher this summer in San Diego. We still haven't decided whether we are going for the homecoming of the sub. We'll know more after we talk with him in a couple of weeks.
Hello Ladies!
My Mom is very slowly getting better. After 4 days back in ICU, she is now in a regular room again. The toll of driving 120 miles everyday roundtrip is starting to wear on my sister and me. My dad has opted to stay home some days (he is 81 yrs old). I have not written J this past week. I don't want him to know the details of her recovery. Since his wife will be visiting in a couple of weeks, I think I will brief her and she can tell him some things. Or I will write a note to send with her. I am tired, Friends. Please pray for strength!
Absolutley Colleen! I wouldn't want it any other way. We are "ALL" Family. Our son's work and live side by side supporting and depending on each other and that will stay in my heart forvever. I am so "Proud" of our sons Mother's and Families aboard the USS San Francisco whom I have come to known.God Bless Us All.
