Susan, I haven't heard from Aaron at all.  My husband is doing okay.  He came back last Saturday.  We just take each day as it comes.  I miss her, though.  I haven't heard anything from LA.  That's how our family is, unfortunately.  We don't communicate very well.  The writing class is going very well.  I want more people participating.  Some of the regulars have stopped coming, but that's okay.  I will continue on.  Love to everyone.

Hi Girls, how is everyone doing? We haven't heard back from Christopher since his last hello on Tues. Did anyone else hear from your sons? Colleen, how is your husband and his family doing since the passing of your Sister-in-law, and how is your writing class going that you teach? Have you heard from your cousin's family in California? And Deborah, how is your mom this week? Is your DIL getting ready for her big trip? I guess you know where their next port might be. I think I do.... but I am not exactly sure of it. Sally, is Craig still in the states or was he the next mail drop sender?  My Oh My, all these questions I have. We have all been so busy taking care of our families.Love to You All

Good Afternoon Ladies, It is "Finally" a warm 'Spring' day today!!! In the "60's"! I can't believe there is actually "No Snow" on the grass!!!! We pulled the grill out to make some steaks.(It was behind the snow blower)!!! Sally... your right, we haven't heard anything from Christopher since the first couple of days in Feb. I would imagine it will be soon though. We are anxiously awaiting! Maybe Craig will get his package if he makes a return @ the next port. He was very close to getting his Dolphins, right? Colleen, I hope you make it out to your parents this summer. We are still planning for a July visit with Christopher this summer in San Diego. We still haven't decided whether we are going for the homecoming of the sub. We'll know more after we talk with him in a couple of weeks.

Thank God you all are fairly close to your parents (physically).  My parents live 1400 miles away in Omaha.  I'm grateful they can still live on their own and have no serious illnesses.  My dad will turn 80 on March third.  I'm planning, God willing, to visit them this summer, maybe the first week in August.  Love you all.

Sally, have you heard from Craig lately?

Deborah, it's good to hear that your mom is recovering. Slow as it may be, it sounds like she's a strong person.I know what you mean about the miles. It's a lot of stress going back and forth. My sister and I each live 50 miles away from our parents. That's why we have opt to spend 2 nights (3-days) taking care of my parents, instead of going back and forth on a daily basis. I am extremely very fortunuate that I work for a family own pharmacy instead of a chain. They have graciously given me the days off that I need until my parents make the move to my sisters in May. My sister who is taking them in, is a school teacher, but has taken time off until everything gets settled. Hopefully next year maybe we will both be back on a routine work schedule.

Hello Ladies!

My Mom is very slowly getting better.  After 4 days back in ICU, she is now in a regular room again.  The toll of driving 120 miles everyday roundtrip is starting to wear on my sister and me.  My dad has opted to stay home some days (he is 81 yrs old).  I have not written J this past week.  I don't want him to know the details of her recovery.  Since his wife will be visiting in a couple of weeks, I think I will brief her and she can tell him some things.  Or I will write a note to send with her.  I am tired, Friends.  Please pray for strength!
