Well, Sally, believe it or not, I am a pretty shy person in the outside world. I am not on Face Book, and I love just staying home and spending time taking care of my family. This is so unusual for me to communcicate through Cyber-Space. My husband on the other hand, has great communication skills with the outside world. My husband and I are the opposites, Ha Ha, {That's why we are married!!!},Christopher takes after my side of the family,{very reserved} and my youngest son Jonathan takes after my husbands family{very out spoken}. But in the end, we are all about Family. And I, as well as all the mothers in our group know exactly how you are feeling. I am not in any other group, just this group, along the side of our son's sub Mom's. This is where I want to be. Being a part of this special group gets me through the day of realizing who our son lives with and who his second family is. I feel he is the luckiest person to have all of your son's beside him. It helps me so much to know that all of you brought your son's up the way my husband and I did. Full of dignity and gracious respect towards other people.I know just how hard it has been for all of us not having any communication with them.I see it, and feel it in everyone's writing. Thank You Colleen for bringing us all together to help us get through all of this.

Ok Girls, I really put my foot in my mouth. Cheryl.... I absolutely Love your son's picture with you, he has a nice BIg smile standing beside you too,and so handsome too, But Brandi's son sitting there by himself, with that huge smile, was the one that I thought looked like my youngest son. He has a picture that just melts your heart. Please forgive me girls, I hope no one is offended because I know all of our sons just melt our hearts when we see pictures of them.Am I Forgiven?

Cheryl, I love the pitcture of your son. he has such a great smile. I bet he has had that smile all of his life. It reminds me of my youngest son Jonathan {The one in the Air Force}, I use to hear compliments of his Big smile from everyone around him, teachers, family friends etc.... My oldest, Christopher,{ the one in the Navy} ,was, and is the more serious of my 2 sons, yet he can be, and have alot of funny moments too. But his pictures were always more on just a quite smile. Sally, it was so great to hear from you, I feel that you need a Group Hug too. I hope you feel it from all of us.((((HHHHUUUUGGGG))))!!!!

Thank you, Cheryl, for being part of this group.  Even if you read the comments days after they are written, they move along like a conversation in the present.  That's how I feel.  I usually check up on things every day, at least once or twice a day.   Wow, Deborah, you are busy!  Take care of yourself.  I have a wake to go to this week.  A friend's father in law passed away. Love to everyone.

Sorry to hear about the snow storm, Susan.  And I am praying for your daughter, Colleen.  Well, I made it through the week.  I start back to work tomorrow.  It will be a busy one.  I teach first graders at BSF after work on Monday night. I am co-teaching a class called "How to study your bible" on Wednesday after work and my mom's procedure.  I have a BSF training meeting at 5am on Friday before work and College group after work.  So say a prayer for me that I won't be too tired and I can get everything done.  God is good!

Well, we have survived another snow storm here in South Jersey. This one not to bad, only a couple of inches, bracing for the Nor'easter coming up the coast for Tuesday. My husband's flight got cancelled today. He was scheduled to fly to San Antonio Texas, but b/c of all the bad weather in Atlanta (connecting flight), he is now home watching (John Wayne movies and Football games!!! He is a huge Green Bay Packer fan, and I am a Phila. Eagles fan, so the house will be rock'in with cheers and jeers this afternoon!!! Colleen, I have been very fortunate throughout my life not having to deal with serious injuries with my children.I hope Jessica does well with her surgery after her P.T. Deborah,it must have been very hard to hear those words from the Dr.about your mother. Please know that you are all in our prayers, and I am sure we will hear soon from our son's that will give us all a Great lift of our spirits!!

Thank you all for joining. I am blessed to know that this group is helping everyone and I appreciate you all for being here. It is wonderful to experience such friendship in cyberspace! xoxox

My daughter Jessica will have to have surgery to remove a piece of bone that is floating around in her knee.  First she has to have physical therapy.

Everyone of you girls has such a special spot in my heart.Colleen, as soon as I read your Group Hug, it's no wonder you are our  Group "Leader". You always know what to say to all of us to mend our souls. We all have that special bond that ties us together,{Our gift from God, our Son's.} Yet, we are all going through many different challenges with our families.I am sure all of us are from many different religions, but none of that matters to any of us, all we know and care about, is that we have all been brought together for a reason. We have all become "One Family" that I know has brought an extra joy into my life everyday.
