It's great to hear from everyone!Oh Colleen, I feel so bad for your daughter. I will pray that she has a fast recovery with healing. Deborah, thats so great about spending time with your daughter-in-law.Christopher and his girlfriend only dated for 3 months before he left for San Diego in Jan. They have had a long distance relationship going. As much as she wanted a commitment from him before his deployment, he just wasn't ready. Plus, he doesn't quite seem to be over a girlfriend that he was dating for 2 years prior to her that was a heart breaking break-up for him. Sally, I think that's wonderful that your son's picture hangs up on the wall for you to pass on a daily basis. You must be so proud everytime you walk by it. My youngest son Jonathan is coming home today. We are waiting for the train to come from D.C. to Philly. It is scheduled to arrive just before 4:00pm. He and his best friend (also in Air Force) drove straight through from Florida to his friends family's house last night in D.C. We are meeting up with old friends tonight for dinner, about 9 of us.I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend.
That sounds like fun, Debra. All of my family and most of my husband's live out of state. We still have a great time together.
Oh no, Colleen! I hope she heals quickly and doesn't have a torn ligament. I haven't heard any sub news either. Tonight was our "Hanging of the Greens" at my mother and father's house. My daughter and family couldn't get away (they aren't driving up until Monday) but J's wife is living in the area so she came over to represent our family. My sister and her extended family were there also. We got out most (but not all) of my mom's decorations and decorated. We decorated the tree and it is beautiful. Every year I think it gets more beautiful. It was great to spend time with my daughter-in-law. We have not spent time together without J. Even though she has been in his life for six years now, we don't know each other well, and tonight provided an opportunity to work together and get to know each other better.
Hi, everyone. My daughter today at school fell and fractured her knee. She may have a torn ligament. She is home now with crutches and a walker. She is finally asleep in her own bed. I haven't heard any sub news. I hope everyone will have a restful holiday. I plan to.
Hi Girls, How is everyone doing? I am sure everyone is busy getting all the lose ends tied up for next week. Christopher has been on mind a lot. I know they say no news is good news, but not hearing from them is heart-wrenching, especially during a time of great Holiday Spirit.Has anyone seens or heard any news from the sub?
