My computer has no sound right now, so I can't watch and enjoy the video!

It is a great video. I had already received it from some email friends of mine. I don't decorate much but I decorated more this year than some years. I always buy a great big poinsettia to put in my window by the door so everyone sees it as they come up the walk. I put up a wreath that someone gave me last year (but I added a new red bow). I bought a poinsettia design outdoor mat (a new practice for me). Then inside, I got out my 2 foot tall, resin, Nativity scene. My mom gave me the wooden Nativity scene pieces that we had when I was a child so I will put it up as well this year. I still plan to buy a red and green plaid tablecloth for my table but I haven't found one yet. So no lights and no tree for me. My mom always has a tree at her house, and at least this year, we will still have Christmas there. My cousin (who is a commander in the Navy as well as her husband who is also on deployment on a sub) is coming for a Aunt Mary Christmas with her children. So I was not successful in getting Christmas at my house this year since my mom is her Aunt Mary!

Hi Girls, I had a very nice conversation with the Ombudsman. Apparently there were a lot of the crew members that don't don't have anyone listed on their phone tree for immediate contacts. They are trying to get it straightened out, but may not until after the first of the year since they have to go through the chain of command. I think it's pretty much the single guys that forgot to list someone. Mine included! I thought he told me he listed his girlfriend, but she's not listed either. But since I am his parent, she was very helpful with some information. Those that gave me an invite as your friend, I left you messages in your Inbox.

Colleen, I did get a hold of an Ombudsman, but she is calling me back with the address. She said we can send or ship anything out to this main address, and when they pull into a port, some how it is mailed to them. The only thing is, we won't know which port it would finally arrive at.Even though they pull into a port, if they are not there to long, then it might go to the next port. And it shouldn't be too big and bulky.I will tell you what the address is when she calls me back.

I have never done a lot of decorating for Christmas. Now we live in a small apartment so we just have a table top tree. I didn't know we could send stuff to the next port. Did you get the address, Susan? I suppose we can't ship anything huge, though. I still have stuff in my throat that makes me cough, Susan.

Hi everyone, Well, it's time to think about decorating for the holidays. Our Grandson Patrick is so looking forward to helping out his Pop Pop with the outside decorations and his MiMi (me), with the inside. I hope everyone is healthy. Colleen, how is your cold coming along? I believe your right with the shipping. I think after he bought a few items, he realized he wasn't aloud to keep on the sub in their tiny quarters, so he had no choice but to ship it out. I have to call the Ombudsman this afternoon. I need to make sure I have the correct address b/c I have to ship something to Chris that he requested so it will be at his next port stop. Plus I have to make sure he is aloud to receive it.If anyone needs me to ask her anything, just let me know.

Aaron said the shipping was too high, so he hasn't sent out anything yet. I suppose it would take a while to get here from there.
