OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Chris called me at work tonight. He said he sent us out a package.I can't wait to get it, especially for my Grandson. He has pictures too, but can't post them for a while. I know they are all in our prayers, especially during this holiday month we will all miss them so very much.

I talked to Aaron this morning before I went to work. He is doing well. I wish I could do skype, but the sound on my computer is gone. He said he took a bunch of pictures. We'll have to wait to see them, though. It was great to hear his voice.

Chris and I had a very short(5 minutes) Web Cam conversation at 6:00am (EST) yesterday. It was just so great to his face.I was extremely overwhelmed with emotion afterwards. My advice if anyone wants to e-mail them try and get it out today.

I finally got to talk to JJ early early this morning. We talked at around 5am PST. I am glad we finally connected. I was ready to give up. I am glad he didn't stop trying. We will all be back to email soon. I am glad I have this group in the interim until I get to talk to him again. I appreciate all of you!

I agree with Colleen, Kathe. I could never be a bookkeeper. I teach 6th grade math and that is about my skill level :).

Check your INBOX, Susan. There should be a message there.

I don't believe anyone can see the messages we exchange. Just the comments everyone can see.

Kathe, I'm glad to help. I learned to value myself the hard way.

You and the person you're emailing have to be friends before you can send an email. On your profile page you'll see the word inbox. That is where your email comes in. I clicked on the person's picture. I was taken to her profile and I clicked to send her a message. If you click on my picture, you will be able to do the same thing. Give it a shot and see what happens.

Colleen, How does the private e-mail work? Do you just invite them as your friend? Yet it is still passing through the N4M web site right?
