If there are any Stockdale Moms that are on the west side of Michigan, we are having lunch at Arnie's Restaurant in Rockford on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 1:30pm.  Let me know how many will be coming in your group.

We had prayers at church today for the family of the Sailor on the Hasley that died.  Tragic.

Hi Everybody,

We (I wasn't home, of course) got a call from our Sailor!  He's doing fine.  Hope you hear from yours.  I will also ask about Evich.  Stay warm everyone!  It's snowing like crazy and wind chills are in the -0's here in Michigan.

Oh MY!  Prayers to the family.  I hope they find him.

Hi indyrules!  This is my son's first deployment and he loved his time on land.  Nice words to Stacie.  I haven't heard if my son received any of his packages.

Woo hoo for you Gigi!  It chokes me up to see your excitement.  I cry almost every time my son calls or at least after he calls.  Smile BIG today!  And navysis, I'm holding you to getting a tan for me or letting your face soak up some vitamin D.  I think Michigan is the grayest state in the winter.  When the sun shines in the winter, I sit in the window with my face pointed towards it.

75 degrees.  Another 5 months and I should see that too!!  We'll be blessed if we break 25 tomorrow.  And then more snow on Fri-Sat and I hear Tues. we might have freezing rain.  Another day in paradise.  Soak up some rays for me please!

Snowing like crazy here in Rockford (GR area), MI.  I just hate driving in this stuff.

He is an OS.  Charts, radar etc.  Hey guys, if you go to the Destroyer Moms, you'll see a picture of the Stockdale with the Gridley and another ship.

I got a phone call too!!  It was good to hear his voice.  Laura, I think you just have to get in touch with the ombudsman.  Were you able to do that?
