Crystal, did you ever hear from Nick?  They are leaving Romania today and will be in the Ukraine later today, for a few days.  Joe sounded good, and he can't wait until they get to the Ukraine.

Crystal, I heard from Joe today, he does know Nick, Joe was his assigned mentor/sponsor when Nick first came on board.  They are in Romania now for a few days, it is very cold and it was snowing heavily yesterday

Hello, my son is on the Vella too and I received an email from him yesterday telling me of his experience in Spain. He said it was great and they are moving on now. I'm sure your son will be in touch with you soon.

@We love our Sailor Nick, what is your name?  I would love to talk to you more, my name is Tammy.  Hope to hear from you and we can get through this deployment together.  My husband is a Desert Shield/Desert Storm vet, in fact, my son Joe is a baby boomer from that era, He was one of the first wave of babies after the Kennedy returned from that conflict

My son Joe is on his first deployment as well, he is in deck division if Gage would like to make a friend, his name is Joe Nussbaum, or as they call him on board "Big Nuss"  I am a navy wife also, but he didn't retire.  He is a contractor for the navy now at NAS Meridian, Mississippi

I heard from my son yesterday, he said Spain is awesome, he is really enjoying it there.  @Nick's mom, what division is he in?  I will ask Joe about him, what is his last name?
