From what I understand from my son. He told me that they were not allowed to phone home. But gave me his military email . He said we could send messages, but didn't know how often he would be able to respond. This is his first cruise. Daily prayers are said for our sailors and there families at home. God Bless You All!!

Well my husband said he's taking our daughter to Disney. So I asked.. "does that mean your coming home for sure?" And he said "I hope, nothing has been said" but I'm sure they will. Congrats to him and his new wife :-) being a military wife, mom, dad, sibling, daughter, son, ect is very difficult. But once your good at it and learn more, its a piece of cake :-) except when your emotions take over.

I do hope they get to come home before they go for the long one. My son just got married and was planning on coming home before they left again. But I know it changes all the time. I don't know if they can phone home. If anyone knows any information please keep me posted.

I'm praying for them all to come home after this underway they are on now. They were told to be prepared for deployment incase they don't come home. They left on my birthday, and will be gone for my 7 year anniversary and my husbands birthday. They should be back just in time for my daughters 4th birthday.

I am also thinking about our sailors. It will be harder when they get deployed for a longer time. Prayers keeping going.

My son will be arriving home from GL A-school this Friday. His hardcopy is for Mayport, FL on the USS Vicksburg. We are so thrilled to have him home for his short stay, watch him get married, and begin his life as a Sailor. - Rural Navy Mom
