How do you plan a big wedding ? He is in A school right now but on hold and doesn't know when his class will start. How do u pick a date and plan for the wedding? We r getting married court house first but still want the big wedding too. I'm at a loss for how to do it
If he is at A school right now & you're going to get married at the court house and plan a vow renewal for later anyway, I would just wait until he's at his first command. He won't be able to take leave during A school (unless he is on hold) and most likely his A school isn't long enough to plan a big ceremony/reception anyway. Once he's at his first command and settled he will know his deployment/underway schedule and he will be able to request leave around those underways.
Yes he will know ahead of time when they're deploying. He will know ahead of time when they are going on underways too, usually (unless it's a last minute one). For example my husband is currently deployed but already knows when he is deploying again. They are planned far in advance.
oh that sounds wonderful. Much better then me thinking it would be a hey we are leaving tomorrow kind of thing. I mean as wonderful as a deployment can be. Which is probably a whole bunch of not wonderful
