May all of us WI MOMS remember the Dotzler family  of Keil WI as they grieve the loss of their young WI Navy Diver tonight.  God Speed and many many prayers and tons of love from your WI Navy Family

Oh yes, Chris, I am actually not too far from you...  I am on the Northwest side of Milwaukee.  I have family in Jackson.

Good evening, all.  I am also from southeastern WI.  My son is in Goose Creek in the nuclear program.

Chris, my son is on Grad hold.  We should be hearing soon whether he will be staying in GC or going to Ballston Spa.  What stage is your son?  My son left for the Navy a year ago in Jan.  His PIR was last March.

Count 9 Fridays from when they arrived to guess/estimate their PIR. You should get a form letter in a week with the PIR date hand written by your SR

My Sailor is an ET and had PIR March 8th.  Mine is still in school at GL and will graduate in October

Hi Chris! Welcome! Are you a veteran mom of this group or just a veteran mom? :)

Curious...how do you already know your son's PIR date?

I am about 1.5 hours south of you!

Hello everyone. My name is Chris. I have one son in almost a year now. He's in GC Nuke School. My other son will be joining him there after his PIR 12/20/13. Anyone close to Green Lake?

Hi mindshaper and MyKidIsInNavy I too am a WI mom - southeastern. My son also arrived on Saturday in Pensacola and is aircrew so I asked my son if he had any bunk mates from WI and he said no.

MyKidIsInNavy - did your sailor just graduate?
