Yep..making plans to go to the game. Found out from another mom who's son did it last year, that we can go onto the field to take pictures and then sit with Seth until they load the bus to go to RTC to do the inprocessing. The other mom said she got her "I'm here call" after they had returned to RTC. Something different that's for sure.

Debi, how exciting.  Are you going to the game to see the swearing in?

NancyNature, my son is in the nuclear program.  We are going to see him next week.  I am kind of laughing because even though they were in the 80s already, they are having a "cool" streak.  Right now, it is in the 70s and raining.  I really want some nice weather!!

How cool is that Debi!? Pretty exciting.

GodBlessAmerica - Goose Creek? Pretty nice! SC should be warming up nicely.

Just found out that my second son who is leaving for bc on June 11 will be part of the White Sox division and swear in at the game in Chicago that night!

Welcome, Nancynature.  It is always great when you get to hear your sailor's voice.

My sailor is stationed in Goose Creek, SC.  He had his PIR from basic last March.

Yeah! Ifinally found you!

I got to hear my son's voice this past Saturday for the first time since he left for bc early this month. It was very comforting. I am glad he is enjoying himself. I look forward to being able to talk to him again soon!

Anybody else have a son in Ship 4 Div 811?
