OK, so it didn't work out very well for the picnic.  Did you all meet up in Stevens Point?  I would like to get together with whomever in some Southeastern area of the State for an early dinner (like the "earlybird special") and light hearted conversation.  Any takers?  Feel free to email me at ihadabite@aol.com and in the subject line put Navy dinner.  It can be lunch instead or breakfast/brunch.  Let me know.  Have a good week.

GodBlessAmerica - we are planning on the 29th of Sept.  It is a sat. I think we are going to meet up in the morning then get some rooms at a hotel. (depending on how many of us can meet)  We will do whatever we want...just take the time to get to know one another better.  Should be a lot of fun...if you want to private message me I can give you my phone number...I think some of my be riding together so if you are on the way we would be happy to see if we can pick you up...hope you can make it!!!

nytesail - I am still in for a picnic as well...just let me know what you are thinking. I am going to be gone in Oct (12th for about 2 weeks...I hope) but other than that I would love to get together with others...

Brit's Mom, when you know the details, let me know.  I am not sure about the date, but would love to be there if I can.

So how about an end of summer of start of fall picnic somewhere in the middle?  We have tried before but for real this time?

I really enjoyed the air and water show today.  The Navy had a nice display.  I actually made it there while they were still giving away tshirts.  We will have to do better planning to indetify each other.  There were A LOT of people there today!!
