It has been a long time since I have visited, I have been not feeling well, but am finally doing better. I am so glad you went ahead with the meet and greet. I hope you had a good turn out. I hope another is planned someday and I can attend. My son will be graduating from his A school on Thursday and coming home for a couple of weeks. He will then go to Oceana at Virginia Beach. He is loving the Navy thus far. I am glad to be back on Navy for Mom.

Eaglemom, please have a safe trip to see your son & you are in my prayers!   I'm so bummed that I missed the M&G, but we were just arriving back from vacation.  We went to MD to visit our son & also spent some time in DC & the Norfolk/VA Beach area.  Didn't want to come home & had a hard time saying good by again!!!

Hello Everyone!  Did the meet & greet happen?  Did y'all have a blast?  Would love to hear stories and see pictures!!!

Gunner's team took 3rd place in the State AIM Trap shoot - and all went well there, but still sorry I wasn't able to attend!

eaglemom- prayers for physical and emotional healing from your auto accident and also for a safe trip to VA.  We will also keep your son in our thoguhts for a safe tour. I'm sure there will be more meet & greets - we are Wisconsinites!

Traci - glad things are settling down? somewhat for you!  It'll be nice to have your son home for the holidays. Do you know when/where hes being deployed?  Steven is going on his first deployment next week, he was home a couple of weeks in June but of course I didnt get to see him as much as I would have liked.

Oh gosh, mom2nw~ that is so me and I am imaging our boys between them all said a million times really mom?!  do you have to do that kind of stuff.  Mine have said this from little on.  I even talk to strangers in elevators, just a simple good morning or hello! My husband is going fishing for the weekend with his brother in Marinette Cty. so I may take a 'road trip if my son has plans for the weekend(again).  :(   His GF seems to have a social life for the both of them every Liberty moment.  Oh well, if he is happy I am.  I sometimes just get the feeling he wants to relax at home(ours) but he needs to express himself and I don't think he wants to hurt her feelings.  It a serious relationship but only about 8 months and those were spent in BC pre-training, and her Air Force duties.

I'll watch for postings........have a great Sunday, sure is steamy even here 2 blocks from Lake Michigan today.  A grad. party in the park..
