Hello all WI moms!! Well sailor #2 is at Fort Sam in San Antonio starting his adventure in HM school :) Sailor #1 is home for another week and then will begin his first duty station in Wash. DC He's an EO also! But is with a CBMU unit and will be doing shore duty for 3 years.
I think it would great if we could all get together for a WI Navy Mom lunch sometime! Anyone interested?
Hi mom2nw! So I am not really up on all the ratings... what is an EO? I know where Germantown is! Ha! it's not far from our office. :) I on the other hand am from the Oconomowoc area.
I'm curious why my post from yesterday from my phone didn't show up on here? Anyone know why it wouldn't have posted? Sure appeared like it posted!
Hello to all....new and experienced. I'm Linda. I'm from Germantown, northern suburb of Milwaukee. My son is an EO, stationed in Gulfport, MS. He's been in for 3 years now...looking at his 2nd deployment.
@ nancynature.. I am right in the middle of both :)
Carmen (maa mom).. I just friend requested you. I am in Wrightstown too!
I know there are moms from Occonomowoc (sp?) and Kenosha too. We were all at the same PIR
Mindshaper87 - you think there are that many near Milwaukee? I only know of 2, me and GodblessAmerica. lol Wish we were closer... Who else here is from the Milwaukee area? Hmm, maybe I am thinking just too close and should broaden my area. lol I think a meet and greet is an excellent idea also!
Melindy - you aren't that far away depending on what you are closer to, Appleton or Green Bay? Carmen - you aren't that far away either! :) (I had to look it up.)
Hi TonysMom! Welcome! I had to look up to see where Cassville, WI is. That is a beautiful area of the state. We even have camped at the state park there. You would have thought I would have remembered! lol :)
Hi there Melindy!!! I live in Wrightstown and my sailor son is stationed in Bangor Washington as a Master at Arms. Where abouts are you from??
