Hi there! I'm planning to move to Pensacola while my husband is attending his A school.

As I'm not moving all my stuff there, I'm planning to rent a furnished apartment (short term lease) for 3 months or so.

Do you recommend any condo in the area?

Any help would be great!

Thanks, Dany.

Thanks! Also I have found a place called Robin's Place, they are duplex style apartments. Has anyone heard anything good/bad about them?

Try to stick close to the base because trust me you will be driving there multiple times a day! LOL Most of the people I know down here live in either sandalwood or autsinwood. Both are really nice, but austinwood is a bit more expensive. If you have any other questions feel free to message me :)

well he cant live with u until he has brown bagger status so he has to request that. But in order to get that yes u have to be married already, have a place with his name on the lease, and have a working car.. All apartments here can be rented for any amounts of months because in Florida its a law that owners must follow military clause .. Which means when u need to move out u can as long as its the military sending u some where else..

ATI Wife - We are getting married in November, and his A School is 18 weeks at least (not counting government holidays, the Christmas break, etc.)  He expects to be in Pensacola until at the very least January, maybe February of 2012.  (he just started his classes)  But, that being said, he learned that he could do additional schooling if his grades are high enough.

Originally I was not going to move to Pensacola after we get married, because everything I had heard up to this point was that my Sailor could not live with me off base because his school was not longer than 6 months.  Then I've heard that there are Sailors that have gotten that request granted.

So!  To make a long story short, I am wondering what the availability of housing is in the Pensacola area, and if there are month-to-month rental packages available.
