2boys1girl....good luck!!!!!!!!!!!! I know what you mean about temper tantrums....but like the thing I posted above says...I have never seen so many men hugging each other too!! Each other, dads, dads and sons....
We have our Sante Fe League tourney tomorrow night, basketball for my daughter Friday, wrestling AND basketball on Saturday....Sigh..............and so another season in life just flashes by.
Well my little guy worked his butt off today... he weighed in last night at 49.9 but they let him stay at 49 instead of bumping up to the 53's. He is tiny! LOL This was his day...
Bye, won, lost, won, won, lost,
The last 3 were matches 64, 66 and 72. Match 72 was for 3rd,, he had the guy by 12 to 4 and had him on his back but lost on time. so 3rd period and they went out of bounds so my son stopped, the ref said keep going and by then he was so gassed out from the last two matches (64 and 66) that he got pinned.. UGH>>> He started to cry,, (hates losing), I thought of that score and how he had it,,,,,poor guy.. SO he took 4th and I told him,,, remember what your brother said (our BC recruit) and he said yes to give it 100%, well I said, we will write him and tell him you gave it 150%! He smiled through is tears.. Absolutely priceless.
Ohhhhhh...us big ol cryers! Hahahahaha......I have a friend who's son joined the Marines. She is just mournful. Plain plain mournful. I only have bad days. Knowing it will get worse prepares me. HE is going to get more and more anxious. Doesn't want to leave the girlfriend. He is truely truely in love with her. His biggest setback at this point is leaving her. I don't have the heart to tell him it's only going to get worse....
I told my husband we should buy a case of kleenex at Sams club...I'm sure going to need them!!
I cried when he played his last football game. They lost it so that made it worse. I know I will long to see him wrestle again...I have one friend who will run out of kids when I do....our daughters are in the same class and grown up together. When they are finished, we are going to enjoy some time together and be support for each other.
Todays wrestling tourney wasn't so kind to my son. He lost one match, but couldn't wrestle for 3rd because of the stupid 5 match rule. He wond 4th because he couldn't wrestle a 6th match....but he beat a kid that is ranked 3rd in the state. He is right now ranked 5th. Team overall did great....2nd place behind the hosting team.
