Welcome Jack! Sharon, Joyce, Vicki, and I are all buds through our YN children! Mine was in Meridian with Joyce's and Sharon's. So between the 3 of us, we have lots of info! Just ask. Mine is stationed out of Norfolk also, but living in the dry dock area (Newport News) since that is where his ship is.

Cnydi...Glad you're daughter is liking it so much! YAH!

Vicki: I too would love the links. T won't be out on a ship for a while since his is still dry docked for a couple of more years...but I would like to study up on it!

Vicki, so glad you got your call! Mine is leaving Meridian tomorrow...his brother is picking him up on base...they are driving to AL to visit some family before heading home Sunday for the rest of his leave. He is glad to finally get out of there....been finished school since April 1st, but has loved all of his buddies. Many will also be in Norfolk, so that's good. Hope you get another call soon! Can he stay in e-mail contact with you while deployed?
