Lord, please strengthen and heal this young sailor. Take the infection away and make his tummy whole again. Give him restful nights and painfree days. Thank you for the medical support and mates who accompany him. Watch over him and all of our loved ones. Amen

Didn't know about the family cruise - I'm just going on an insane last minute trip like yours next month. I don't care either as I will see my son, too! :) :) How sweet the band played Anchor's Aweigh for your son and what a touching moment that had to be!

bubsmom- can you let me know where you find to stay..... my son is probably going to have surgery on his knee, we find out next week.  I would assume they would keep him in Japan and do it there????  I would really like to go to be with him :)

Hope everyone is doing well- have a great day!

Does anyone know of any place to stay other than the Navy Lodge? It's not available. This will definitely be an answer to prayer if this works out! Thanks.

SueS - Congratulations on your up-coming trip!  I'm hoping to be going to Yokosuka sometime early next year.  Does anyone know if "base housing" is available to family members?  Just curious if that would be cheaper (& more convenient) than a hotel - if it's a possibility.

How sweet Blondie, but I didn't mean for you to change your picture!  LOL!  But I do like this one also.... I sure hope you get to feeling better soon!  Just read on Japan Moms your post.  I will keep praying for you.

Hi Blondie and Sue!

Sue, I am so happy and excited for you!

Just want you both to know that yall's (Southern thing) conversation can be confusing to my little simple mind!  I look at the screen and yall are both wearing pink!!!! LOL!   I have to make sure to read the names to know who is going to Japan! LOL!

Take care and both of you have a wonderful day!
