I just talked to my son. I am so glad. I haven't talked to him since sunday. So tonight I emailed him through his facebook account. He says things are starting to get back to normal in Yokosuka. That is kind of a relief for me as he is land based. I am sending him two packages tomorrow. Sending packages and joining this site is really good therapy for me.

no word lately, I did find photos from their stop in Sasebo. Also there is McCain on fb only you have to go to it and read the wall. The captain has been posting pretty well and reassuring to all. No reason to expect them to move, other than the more things are predictable, the less predictable they are. I'm sure their very busy and doing fine--smiles on the faces resupplying at Sasebo.

I am so glad they are heading to shore. Check with your post office about the packages. I am not sure if all post offices do the same things. ; )

Thank you for the information and the Serenity Prayer. It is so true. I have decided to send my son items to share with other people.

That is awesome! Where is the best place to adopt a sailor? I want to adopt someone who may not be receiving packages and needs things.
