Thank you Ang...Mo'zmom. I will look into that. He is coming up on his 30th birthday and has taken his Chief test waiting for results.  I am so proud he is that far so young.  Sorry for the late post just got home from church and a bite to eat with friends.

I don't know. I too have seen that and thought it would be nice. Maybe I could find one here in Orlando and as I would want it engraved.

In May my son will be serving our country for 10 years!  Besides being so very proud of him I am seeking some good ideas of what to get him for this landmark occassion.

G-rated please.

the first verse is the first verse of the Navy Hymn...the NH has verses for marines, air, subs and more recently was written one for astronauts which was quoted after Challenger in 85.

the nuclear is my own words, from my heart, not necessarily a verse for a song

yes, everyone pls share

Eternal Father, strong to save,
Whose arm hath bound the restless wave,
Who bidd'st the mighty ocean deep
Its own appointed limits keep;
Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee,
For those in peril on the sea!

Almighty God who sees us all
we know you hear us when we call
The nuclear plant now needs your care
And the 50 working there
You love all people in Japan
We pray for those in terror on the land.

Amen!

Father God, I pray for our sons and daughters and the people of Japan that they may know you are near for comfort and peace during this tragic event.  Our children are far from our arms but you are there for them.  May you bless all they do and help them and us to know and remember that you are in control.

Bless the mothers whos hearts are hurting for their children.
