Any questions regarding DEP, boot camp, A school or in between can hopefully be answered here. I myself was in boot camp from June-August of '09 and am now stationed in Norfolk, Va. This site helped my mother so much, its my time to return the favor.

I have lots of questions about A School. My son just left boot camp and now he is in Pensacola. He has to wait for a month for his A-School to begin. What will he be doing during the time he waits for school to start. What are the 3 phase up stages. What can I do to help him not get depressed because he won't be doing what he wanted to do - Training for Aviation Rescue Swimmer.
Could someone tell me what happens after A school. I know she goes goes right from bc to school, does she go right to her job after that, or does she come home? Does she come home at all out of her 5 years?
Hi Everybody,
My godson is in Pensacola for A school training for A-PACT enlisted. He graduated from Basic July 29th and was sent to Pensacola the next day. His orders say that he would be there for 22 days and then be stationed on the USS Ronald Regan. He was been there past the 22 days and has still not had his A-school training. They seem to have forgotten about him (in our inexperienced minds). He has inquired at the school about his training, but nobody has been able to answer him. He doesn't want to make waves (no pun intended), so he doesn't want to push things and just lays low. I think that he should be asking every day until somebody answers him (and be respectful and do the jobs they have given him to do, etc). Does somebody else know where he might get answers to when he will receive training. Help me and his parents to understand so that we don't push him and inadvertantly get him in trouble! Thank you!! Go Navy!
